Bill: So a week or so ago, we bought an old school car and the minute I got it I took it to my friend’s shop.
１週間前に古い車を買ってすぐに友達のショップの整備工場に持って行ったよ。

Bob: Awesome! So what was wrong with it because you only had it for a minute?
すごい！買ったばかりなのに、どこか故障していたの？

Bill: Well, it is an old 1995 Lexus that was basically ignored so it had major engine problems. We just dropped a whole new engine in it.
ずっとほったらかしにされていた1995年物のレキサス（日本ではレクサス）でエンジンにかなりの問題があってね。新しいエンジンを入れたんだよ。

Bob: Wow! That’s a collectors car and plus you have a new engine. I mean what move could you ask?
そうなんだ！その車はコレクターアイテムで新しいエンジン。これ以上何を望むんだい？

Bill: Right. But it wasn’t cheap but I’m sure it is completely worth it and it has a great body, you know.
そうなんだよ。安くなかったけど車体もきれいだし価値があるよ。

Bob: Can’t wait to take spin in it. Let me know when you want to go cruising around.

Ken: Spring has sprung so now we can look forward to some good weather and on top of it we have the whole day since Day Light saving has been going on.

Bill: I’m with you I just don’t do the cold weather thing very well.
My body was not geared for that kind of weather.

Ken: So what do you have going on today since it’s a picture perfect day?

Bill: Well, I’m going to throw on some shorts and take a good long walk today. And probably swing by Starbucks.

Ken: I’d like to tag along if you don’t mind and beside I have nothing planned.

Bill: Sure, drop by my house in about an hour.
