BillはJamesに私が購入したIphone10xについて話しています。

Bill: My wife has been driving me up a wall about a new IPhone so we the car yesterday and picked up one.
ワイフが新しいI-phoneのことで ずっとうるさいので、昨日車に飛び乗って買いに行ってきたよ。

James: Yea, but the prices are out of this world. They don’t give you any break when you are looking for one, do they?
そうなんだ、でもあれは物凄く高いよね。携帯を探しているお客さんには値引きなんてしてくれないしね。

Bill: Actually it wasn’t that bad with her trade in. It was around 600 bucks. Their new look is very classy.
実はね、彼女の携帯の下取りをしてもらったので、そこまで高くなかったよ。600ドルぐらいかな。新しい携帯の機種はとても上品だよ。

James: Soon or later I’m going to have to do the same thing. Mine is older than the hills but I can get by with it for now.
遅かれ早かれ、僕も同じことをすることになるな。僕のはかなり旧式だけど、今のところ用は足せているからね。

Bill: I’m in the same boat as you but I’m still happy with one I got, I’m not a phone person anyways.
僕も同じだけど、今持っているので満足しているよ。どちらにしても、あまりスマホにはこだわらないタイプだし。

James: Well, tell Yoko have fun with her new toy.
Yokoに新しい携帯楽しむように言っておいて。

Billと隣人のJohnがHouse cleaningについて話しています。

John: Why do you look so rough? Did you roll around in the dirt or something?

Bill: No, I just wanted to clean the top of the fridge and then one thing lead to another.

John: I understand that all to well. You just mean to do one little thing and before you know it everything is upside down.

Bill: Yap, but boy this place is spic and span now and it’s just as well I did it, because, we are going to have a house full next month.

John: That’s right you got guests coming in from Japan so you will really have your hands full. Good thing you got on it now.
